Tebow arrested!

Breaking News!

Shortly after receiving his brand new job as a college football analyst for the upcoming SEC Network, Tim Tebow was invited to join governor Rick Scott at the state capitol of Florida. The celebration was cut short, however, after Tallahassee swat team stormed the capitol and brought Mr Tebow into custody. No statement has been released by the Tallahassee police department, however, there has been a statement released by the Freedom From Religion Foundation’s co-founder Annie Laurie Gaylor:

“Our first amendment to the constitution clearly states that government is not to endorse or even acknowledge any form of religion, especially Christianity and makes absolutely no mention of the free exercise of religion. The fact that a governor would allow a Christian into a public building is clearly a violation of the separation of church and state which is probably the second or third amendment.”

Later that day the young aspiring football player was released from jail and one of our reporters was on the scene to get this statement from Tebow:

“I would just like to thank the great state of Florida and my Lord and Savior for giving me the opportunity to meet Florida’s finest. It has truly been an eventful day and I thank God for this experience.”

Shortly after the comments were released, Annie suffered a mild stroke. She is expected to make a full recovery.
